How does your meal service work?

We’re here to improve your eating habits. You choose a plan that fits your lifestyle (Essentials, Level Up, or Family). Every week you’ll get a menu to choose your mains and sides from—pick what looks good and exciting. Once you’re set, we cook everything fresh in our kitchen and deliver it to your door on your scheduled day (Sunday or Monday).

Sussa! renews automatically, so you’ll always have food covered unless you pause, skip, or cancel. (See below details about each plan).

What are the different plans and which plan is right for me?

Essentials: 3 mains + 3 sides = 10 meals. Perfect for one person eating lunch and dinner during 5 days (aka fuss-free-work-week). It also fits the schedule for 2 people eating one meal per day for 5 days.


Level Up: 4 mains + 4 sides = 20 meals. Ideal for two people eating lunch and dinner Monday through Friday, as an example. It’s basically double the Essentials—so you and your plus-one never have to argue about what’s for dinner.

Family Plan: 6 mains + 5 sides = 40 meals. Made for families or households of 3–5 people eating together regularly. Plenty of food to share, and enough variety to keep everyone happy. We're talking about 46 unique combos!

Can I mix and match meals?

SIM! That’s one of the perks. Mains and sides are portioned separately so you can mix them however you like. Maybe you want lemon risotto with roasted veggies one day and with lentil stew the next. It’s all about creating the combo that makes your taste buds sing.

How do subscriptions and billing work?

Weekly Pay-As-You-Go

Whether you choose Essentials, Level Up, or Family, you can sign up week by week. You’ll be billed every Wednesday for the following week, and your subscription renews automatically. You can pause, skip, or cancel anytime before the cut-off (Wednesday 3PM).


6-Week or 10-Week Commitment

These are ongoing plans that give you consistency (and discounts!) for a longer stretch. You’re still billed weekly (not one big charge upfront), but you’re committing for the full 6 or 10 weeks. Once your term ends, the subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel or pause.

What’s the weekly cut-off time for orders?

VERY important question!


Wednesdays at 3 PM
is the magic hour. That’s the deadline for selecting your meals for the week. If you don’t pick by then, you’ll get our default chef’s selection because part of our job is to guarantee that you’ll never go hungry.

When does the menu update?

Every Thursday. That means you’ll have a few days to check out what’s new, get inspired and make your picks before Wednesday’s cut-off.

What if I don’t like a dish?

We care about your experience and we want to improve. If something doesn’t hit the spot, let us know. Our team will look for a solution and use your feedback to make recipes better. Tastes are personal, but we always aim for delicioso!

How do you handle allergies?

Your safety is super important to us. Please add any allergies to your order notes so we can save the information in your account. Our kitchen is 100% dairy-free and we never cook with animal by-products. However, we do use soy, gluten, sesame, and coconut, and while we’re very careful with cross-contamination, we can’t guarantee zero traces. If you have a severe allergy, let us know so we can talk through what’s safest.

What if I don’t like a certain ingredient? (Cilantro gene alert!)

Every dish lists its ingredients so you’ll know exactly what’s inside before you choose it. If you don't eat cilantro or mushrooms or anything else, you can avoid those dishes when selecting your weekly menu. Sometimes we can adjust recipes if you note it on your order, but since our meals are cooked in batches, we can’t always guarantee those changes. When in doubt, it’s best to choose another dish.

Can I make changes after I’ve ordered?

Generally speaking, yes - but timing is key. If you contact us at least 3 days before your delivery day, we can usually make adjustments. After that, our team is already prepping and cooking, so changes may not be possible.

When are deliveries and can I pick up instead?

Deliveries are on Sundays or Mondays, depending on the slot you choose when you sign up. Your chosen slot repeats weekly. If you need to change your day, just give us at least 3 days’ notice and we’ll adjust.
